Antibiotics kill bad and good bacteria so how can I treat bv naturally?

ive been getting recurrent bv’s and im really sick of having to get antibiotics that do more harm than good usually to treat these things. ive been reading that boric acid inserted is supposed to make it go away and usually for good and so i bought some recently. however all over the bottle is says that if contact with skin occurs to immediately rinse w water etc. etc. to im wondering here, how can they say that its save to insert vaginaly (and im read this ALL over natural health websies and even bought a book about a cure for bv and they all say boric acid is the key). how can somethign so toxic be ok to treat bv. i dont get it am i missing simthing or are they like usung some other kind of boric acid??? I thought there was onyl one type. does anyone have any clue? …?
