I have a severe yeast infection and I took Diflucan 3 days ago and the symtoms have only gotten worse. I was treated 1 week ago for bacterial vaginosis. I have the thick cottage cheese like discharge and it is driving me crazy with the burning and itching. Could these be symtoms of something else?

I’ve had bacterial vaginosis (bv) a few times during this pregnancy (25 weeks). I’ve had some cramping lately so I worry. I’ve been having a bit of discharge. From what I can tell it is clear and I have not noticed a bad smell. I was just put on the one dose pill of diflucan because I suspected I had a yeast infection. Would diflucan help treat bv too if I had it? Does it sound like I have bv? Thanks!
