Is it possible to cure bacterial vaginosis without a doctor's help?

I am 20 years old and I am sexually active. After a few days of research, I really think I have bacterial vaginosis. Is there any way that I can treat or cure bacterial vaginosis without the help of a doctor? I need to know because if i go to a doctor, my mother, who thinks I am a virgin, will see it on our medical bill. If there is any way that I can get an over the counter drug to cure it, that would be great. Please help! I’d really appreciate it.
