If you have or had BV when pregnant does that mean your going to have a pre mature baby? I had BV and was treated my doctor told me not to worry because I was getting treatment for it. And that if you don’t get treatment for it it can cause premature labor. But some of the webites I’ve been on say if you have BV when pregnant you will more then likely have a pre mature baby. Is this true?

i have had bv for about a year. until recently i didnt know what i had. i was prescibed flagyl for the 7 day period. it started to go away (to my excitement) but didnt seem to fully go away. then about 2-3 days after the treatment it came back. i dont have the odor just a lot of discharge. has anyone had success in treating this. i just started with the acidophilus pills. anything you could tell me would greatly be appreciated. im just so tired of this!
