have BV (bacterial vaginosis) sp. They gave me a vaginal cream called clindesse to take it has clindamycin phosphate 2 %. I took the vaginal cream it was only one dose. I then read some info. about the vaginal cream and is says it can cause preterm labor and shouldn’t be taken by pregant women vaginally. So know I’m freaked out. I’m also pissed off at my doctor for prescribing a medicine that could effect my pregnancy. Has any one else took this medicine before vaginally around 17 weeks of pregnancy and if you did how did the outcome of your pregnancy go. Also people who’s had BV during pregnancy are welcome to write there thoughts. I read also that not treating BV can cause a late miscarriage in pregnancy…has anyone ever had this outcome.
