Is bacterial vaginosis associated with PID and if so does metronidazole help treat it.I had bacterial vaginosis recently and someone told me that its associated with PID.is this true?

I have had my bacteria Vaginiosis treated with antibiotics twice, it always resurfaces and I dont know why it comes back?? I have the same sex partner, I stop using Summer’s Eve Duoche, and I make sure to drink more water…… It goes away for a month and then it’s back…… Is this STD related or something……
Is BV ever REALLY Cured….. I need answers ladies, somebody!!!
